WHAT IT DOES
PATBook is a private, offline PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) log and certificate maker for electricians, PAT testers, and landlord-compliance contractors.

- Record each appliance: asset ID, description, class (I, II, III), and location
- Enter readings from any PAT tester - earth continuity (Ohms), insulation resistance (MOhms), polarity, and functional checks
- Mark the overall PASS or FAIL result - your professional judgement
- Build an asset register that tracks every appliance and its next-due date
- See which appliances are coming up for retest, with reminders
- Create PDF PAT test certificates and asset registers with your company logo at the top
- Ask the customer to sign on your phone. Their signature appears on the PDF certificate
- Generate an A4 PDF sheet of QR asset labels, 21 per sheet, each showing the result, the test date and, for a pass, the next test date
- Scan an asset's QR label on your next visit to open that appliance and start its retest
- Create a PDF invoice with your company logo, price per appliance, an optional call-out fee, VAT and your bank details
- Export an asset register as CSV
- Keep your own records on your own device, no account required

It does not determine or guarantee whether any appliance is safe - PASS or FAIL is your professional judgement based on your own inspection and instrument readings. Test methods, pass limits, and retest intervals must follow the current IET Code of Practice and your own risk assessment.
