Nepali Unicode Keyboard

Nepali Unicode Keyboard lets you type Nepali in any app, the way you already type.

ROMANIZED TYPING
Type Nepali with English letters and get Unicode Devanagari. "namaste" becomes नमस्ते, "dherai ramro" becomes धेरै राम्रो. Suggestions above the keys come from a built-in Nepali word list, so common words come out right even when you spell them loosely. Tap the Latin word in the bar to keep it in English.

TRADITIONAL LAYOUT
Prefer the traditional Nepali Unicode layout? Switch to it once and it stays. Shift characters show as small hints on each key, and a long press types them. Vowel signs join correctly, so अ + ा gives आ, not अा.

MADE FOR NEPAL
• Dates: type "aaja", "bholi" or a date like 2026-10-21 and get the Bikram Sambat date: २०८३ कार्तिक ४, बुधबार
• Amounts: 1500000 becomes १५,००,००० or पन्ध्र लाख, and "ru 500" becomes पाँच सय रुपैयाँ मात्र for cheques
• Land and gold: "5 aana" shows (१,७११ वर्ग फिट); ropani, bigha, kattha, tola and grams too

VOICE TYPING IN NEPALI
Tap the mic and speak Nepali. Your phone's speech service turns it into text.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Android warns that any keyboard "may be able to collect all the text you type". This one never sends what you type anywhere, and it doesn't save your typing. Typing, suggestions, clipboard and emoji all work offline. Password fields get the plain English layout with no suggestions and no voice. Two optional features use Google: voice typing sends your audio to your phone's speech recognition (usually Google) only when you tap the mic, and handwriting, if you turn it on, downloads Google's handwriting model and lets Google's ML Kit send usage diagnostics (not what you write).

No ads. No pop-ups. No rating prompts while you type.
