Family Nest: Private Locator

Family Nest is a family locator and child GPS tracker for parents: see where your children are, know when they arrive at school or get home, and help new drivers drive safely. Location is shared only inside your private family group, called a Nest, and everyone in it can see who is sharing.

Live family map
• Your children's real-time GPS location on a private map, with battery level and when their phone last checked in
• Live tracking with the route and ETA while they're on the way, in a picture-in-picture window if you like
• Share your own live location by link, for 15 minutes up to 6 hours or until you stop; it opens in any browser and ends on its own
• Nest at a Glance widget: everyone's place and battery on your home screen

Expect: know if they're late
• Pick a place and a time on your child's card, and be told the moment they arrive, or if they haven't
• Repeat it every day for the school run or practice

Place alerts (geofences)
• Arrival and departure alerts for Home, School, Grandma's or anywhere, with a zone you size on the map
• Choose which family members alert you at each place
• Low battery alerts before a phone goes quiet

Location history
• Up to 365 days of location history: every stop, how long they stayed, and every trip drawn on the map
• Download a day as a PDF report with the timeline, a map, speed and distance
• Flights show as flights, not as a long stay at the airport

Safe driving with Nest Drive
• A driving score for each driver, by day and by week, and a driver profile for new and teen drivers
• Driving events on the map: hard braking, rapid acceleration and speeding, with when and where each happened
• Speed alerts with a limit for each driver: one alert per speeding episode, with how long it lasted and the top speed
• Drive alerts when someone starts and finishes a drive

SOS and Watch Over Me
• Hold SOS and your family gets an urgent alert with your location and battery; your emergency contacts get a text message with a map link
• An SOS widget on your home screen
• Watch Over Me: your family follows a walk or a late journey home until you arrive

Family chat and the Nest feed
• A private chat for your Nest, with photos and shared places
• The Nest feed: arrivals, departures and drives, in order
• A warning when a phone's location may be mocked or spoofed

Family Nest is designed for parents and legal guardians to keep their minor children safe. It is not intended for tracking adults or anyone without their knowledge or consent. Everyone in a Nest can see who is sharing, and sharing can be paused at any time. Please use Family Nest only for lawful, ethical purposes.

Privacy
• No ads, and we never sell location data
• Location is shared only with the members of the Nests you join
• Delete your account and all your data from inside the app
