It is good for learning but after winning or losing the text banner blocks the view of the final position of the pieces, as a learner I want to review the last position of the pieces, I once stalemated but I couldn't see what exactly went wrong as the information was not based on my position rather just a generic example which isn't informative, will try some other apps

Love the idea! Was waiting for something like this. I really hope you will be adding more RPG elements to the app, as it feels there is no real progression in the game. Money is very hard to get, and also (in the tavern) it doesn't make sense that it becomes more difficult to get the same rewards the more you level up. But I do really like the concept and hope you will be expanding the experience.

The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the "schools." They are fun and can help beginners understand the game. It's also fun to replay some of the greatest players in the world games, like Bobby Fischer! But on the flip side, some of them on hard, like "Shogun Stronghold," require you to beat AI on Hard with a timer from a specific setup. Since the timer only counts for you, AI literally just blocks until the timer ends. instead of actually playing chess. That gets OLD FAST! Otherwise 5stars
