About this game

Play PSP games on your Android device, at high definition with extra features!

PPSSPP is the original and best PSP emulator for Android. It runs a lot of games, but depending on the power of your device all may not run at full speed.

No games are included with this download. Use your own real PSP games and turn them into .ISO or .CSO files, or simply play free homebrew games, which are available online. Put those in /PSP/GAME on your SD card / USB storage.

This is the free version. If you want to support future development, please download PPSSPP Gold instead!

See http://www.ppsspp.org for more information, and see the forums for game compatibility information.

A shining example of how to code correctly. This isn't just one of the better emulators out there, it's honestly one of the most well written pieces of software available for ANY OS. You don't even really need much of a high end device either. if there was a sixth star, this app would be worthy. Also, thanks for adding Retro Achievements. 😁

I'll give credit where it's due. It's easy to use, it's run every game I've tested on it. Touch controls are fine but it's no substitute for a physical gamepad which is what the games were meant to be played with (my iPega 9055 pad is great for that). Only downside is that system requirements are still high (as is for every other 6th gen console). My phone isn't up to spec so I'm sticking to my PSP for now.

The big buttons on the screen can get in the way but there isn't really an alternative so I'm ok with it. You can play psp games for free. Big win. Persona 3 here I come. Although there are some annoying glitches. Like in Persona 3, when the characters blink, a white square appears while theirs eyes are closed. But it's just some small visual bugs.
