OilDue: Oil Change Reminder

OilDue is an oil change tracker and reminder that works out what your car needs next, and roughly when, from your own mileage readings. A plain "every six months" reminder cannot do that. Drive more and the date comes closer. Leave the car on the drive and it moves back.

ONE GAUGE FOR EVERY JOB
Oil and filter, air and cabin filters, tyres, brakes and coolant, plus any job you add yourself. Each gauge shows how far through its interval you are, the miles or kilometres left, and a predicted date. Give a job a mileage, a number of months or both, and whichever is reached first sets the date.

MOT, INSURANCE AND ROAD TAX DATES
These run on the calendar rather than your mileage. Type the date from your certificate or renewal letter and it stays exactly as you typed it, so OilDue also works as an MOT reminder. Elsewhere the same gauge is your inspection date.

ENTER YOUR ODOMETER READING
Open the app, tap the number pad, type what the dashboard says. The predicted date under the number moves as you type. If you have not typed a reading for a month, OilDue gives you a nudge. A number lower than the last one asks before saving, so a slip of the finger cannot wreck your dates.

A VEHICLE MAINTENANCE LOG WITH RECEIPTS
Save the date, the job, the odometer, the cost, the garage and a photo of the receipt. Saving a completed job resets the interval for that job.

CAR MAINTENANCE REMINDERS THAT MOVE WITH YOUR MILEAGE
A reminder a set number of days before each date and another on the day, at the time you choose. Every new reading moves the mileage-based ones with it. Your phone's settings have to allow notifications.

EXPORT YOUR SERVICE HISTORY
With the unlock, every job in date order with its receipt photo, in one PDF to show someone buying the car. It is built from your own records and says so on the first page.

COST PER MILE
With the unlock, your recorded maintenance costs per mile or kilometre, by car and by year. Records only: fuel and anything you did not enter is not counted.

YOUR RECORDS STAY ON YOUR PHONE
No account and no cloud. Your cars, readings, records and receipt photos are stored on your phone. The app uses Google services for ads, crash reporting and usage statistics. Export a backup file you can save or share, and restore it on another phone.

PLANS
The standard tier keeps one car with every gauge, reminders, service records and backup, and shows a banner on the Costs tab. A single one-time unlock adds unlimited cars, the history PDF and cost per mile, and removes the ads. Your existing records stay available without the unlock.

WHAT OILDUE DOES NOT DO
It does not know your maker's service schedule: the intervals are starting values you change, so check your handbook. It cannot say whether a car is safe or roadworthy, it does not certify a service history, and it does not look up your registration.
