Über diese App

PantryRoll is the door record for a small church or community food pantry, built for a volunteer at a folding table. Each household has a card. A visit is checked in by scanning that card or typing the last four digits of a phone number, and the app adds up households, people served and food given out as the line moves.

AT THE TABLE

The Roll is one screen: a big search box, a scan button, and a ribbon above them with the households, people and pounds served today, and the month under them. Find the name, tap once, and they are checked in. Household size comes from its record and your usual amount is filled in, so a normal visit takes one tap.

A household seen too recently gets a note with your pantry's own rule, such as 1 visit every 14 days. It is a note and nothing more: the check-in button stays where it is and the volunteer decides.

The Roll keeps working in a church basement with no signal and catches up when the phone is back online. If two volunteers check in the same household on the same day, it counts as one visit.

THE CARDS

Each household gets a printable card with a QR code, one at a time or a full sheet. Each household record holds a name, the number of adults, children and seniors, a ZIP, dietary needs and short notes. The full phone number is never stored, only the last four digits for lookup.

THE MONTH

Households counted once each for the month, and the people in them. First-time and returning households. People by age group. Pounds, bags or boxes, and the average per household. Counts update as visits are recorded and synced, and any earlier month is one tap away.

THE DAY THE PHONE DIES

Print a blank sign-in sheet, then pick the date later and check households in for that day.

SOLO AND PRO

The Standard plan holds 150 households with the Roll, printed cards and the sign-in sheet. Solo removes the cap and adds the month's breakdown on screen and a CSV. Pro adds 5 seats with every check-in stamped with who did it, a monthly report pack as a PDF with a count by ZIP, report wording you can match to your food bank's form, and household card links: a page a household keeps on a phone with the card, your hours and the next distribution day, in English and Spanish. Households need no account, and no name appears on the page.

YOUR RECORDS

Households and visits are stored on our servers so every seat sees the same Roll, and are encrypted in transit. A household can ask to be removed: deleting one removes the card and its link, and the month's counts stay with no name on them.

WHO IT IS FOR

Church pantries, community food cupboards and small food shelves, including the ones whose food bank does not hand them software. PantryRoll keeps your records and adds up your counts. It does not decide who is eligible, and it does not send anything to a food bank or agency. The report rows are the common ones, and you check them against your own form.
