Simple Calendar Companion is the setup, customization and calendar sync app for Simple Calendar Watch Face on Wear OS.

Use the companion app on your Android phone to connect your calendars, customize the watch face and keep everything synced with your smartwatch. The watch face itself is available separately on Google Play.

Simple Calendar Companion guides you through the setup process and checks that everything needed for the watch face is working correctly. You can check your Wear OS watch connection, verify that the companion and watch face are installed, confirm that calendar data is syncing successfully and preview the watch face directly on your phone.

Choose which calendars you want to see on your wrist and customize how your daily schedule and appointments are displayed.

Choose between three calendar layouts:

• Circle – see your day arranged around the watch face
• Vertical Day – view appointments on a vertical timeline
• Horizontal Day – follow your schedule across a horizontal timeline

Depending on the selected layout, you can choose between 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour and 2-hour views.

You can also customize:

• Calendar selection
• Calendar event text size
• Clock display, including 12-hour and 24-hour formats
• Optional date and AM/PM display
• Light or Dark appearance
• Automatic Light/Dark mode based on local sunrise and sunset

The watch face also supports two customizable complications, allowing you to display additional information alongside your calendar.

The live preview lets you see how your changes will look before using them on your watch.

Select multiple calendars and combine them into one clear view. Events retain their calendar colors, making work, personal and shared calendars easy to distinguish.

Simple Calendar visually represents when events start, how long they last and where they overlap. Instead of reading through a list of appointments, you can understand the structure of your day at a glance.

Once configured, Simple Calendar Watch Face shows what is happening now, what comes next and how the rest of your day is arranged. Tap the watch face to cycle through additional event details when you need more information.

The companion app keeps setup and customization on the larger phone screen, while your Wear OS watch stays focused on displaying your schedule clearly.
