Shoes off. Hands up. The music starts, and the two of them take the floor at Jack Rabbit Slim's.
Twist Contest is an animated digital watch face for anyone who has ever tried that dance in their living room.
• It's alive. A man in a black suit and a woman in a white shirt, barefoot, twist on a poster-red dial - the famous dance, move for move, drawn flat in black, white and skin like the classic posters. A 16-second loop with no seam.
• A big, bold clock in the title's yellow with a hard black shadow, in 12 or 24 hours as your watch is set, and the date under their feet.
Everything you need at a glance:
• Today's steps on the left and your heart rate on the right, both in yellow
• A yellow step goal ring around the edge, filling up as you walk
Make it yours: press and hold the watch face, tap Customize, and switch the step goal ring and the side readings on or off.
In always-on mode the dancers rest and only the clock stays lit, dimmed and gently shifting position to protect your screen.
Made for fans of Pulp Fiction and Quentin Tarantino. For everyone who remembers Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace at the twist contest at Jack Rabbit Slim's, to Chuck Berry's "You Never Can Tell" - the fingers drawn across the eyes, the swim, the Batusi - and who still wants that trophy.
Requires Wear OS 5 or later.
Unofficial fan art. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Miramax, Quentin Tarantino or any other rights holder of Pulp Fiction.
