Petra - lek og lær (2-6 år)

Engaging play and learning for children. Petra is an educational game and learning platform for children aged 2 to 6, with fun games that make learning fun. The content in Petra is taken from the curriculum in Norwegian kindergartens, and developed in collaboration with educators to ensure that the games are tailored for children of kindergarten age.

In Petra, play is placed at the center of the child's learning process, in a safe and educational world where the child learns while playing. Petra works as a digital reference book, where the children themselves can participate in the action and get a response in the form of animations, realistic sounds, music and fun surprises!

With Petra, you get language-developing, Nordic content from the nursery - collected in one place:
- Over 40 unique educational games divided into different themed worlds such as animals, vehicles and outer space.

- Versatile learning divided into 8 subjects from kindergarten; language, logic, geometry, music, mathematics, emotions, colors and creativity

- Motivates linguistic development, with language teaching that takes as its starting point research and approaches from the kindergarten

- Learning methodology that creates a sense of mastery and builds self-confidence through guidance and positive feedback when the child succeeds in the game exercises

- Nordic content tailored for Norwegian children, with content, characters and songs that are traditional and recognizable to children

- New content every single month - at no extra cost. The updates can be anything from new themed worlds, new games and new characters the child can learn about and get to know

Relationship-building family activity:
For the very youngest children, it is recommended that screen time takes place together with adults. Petra can be played both alone or used as a family activity together with the child's carers. Several of the games in Petra set up nice conversations between adults and children, so that the app can be educational for the child, while at the same time it is relationship-building and fun for the whole family.

Safe and advertising-free digital environment:
Petra is an educational app free of advertising and "in-app purchases" features. The app also does not require the user to provide personal information about the child.
