I play Civ on PC usually, to see it be remade for smartphones was amazing idea. sadly the idea doesn't work. during the trial on my map it kept having pixel squares randomly going on and off, then whenever the troops were selected half of the map became visible. I hope it gets fixed as I do enjoy the game. for the price on what I experienced, I wouldn't get it if it was free due to it functioning so poorly. and even if it had no issues, it's a mobile phone game not a PC. 4.99 if it worked.

Price isn't justified, the money civ 6 has already made is pretty decent if sales are anything to go by. Porting the game and charging £18 with none of the DLC at this point is just way to much. £9.99 without DLC would net you so many more mobile sales. Civ in your hand sounds great but when you most likely already own the game on another platform, shelling out that much is just a bit meh. I played the free 60 turns and the tutorial, both ran fine and the game seem optimised. Wait for a sale.

Had this via Netflix, it's just the full Civ 6 game, terrific port. Slightly fiddly on mobile and begins to seriously tax the device as hit endgame, but hell, I'll take that because it's the full game and it's fantastic. Netflix lost it, stopped working. Thought I'd buy it on the Play store, if it was £20 or whatever I'm happy to pay that for what's a phenomenal game. But the price once the DLCs are factored in is *astronomical* just to get the same features as Netflix. Pretty disgusting imo
