I've been looking for the perfect digital photo frame app for my Android devices to replace an earlier app I purchased (for a fruit-based device) that is no longer available and so far I'm loving it. The app is easy to set up and the flexibility to use local files or those online is great. The only change for me would be additional fonts to personalise the clock feature. Highly recommended and will probably be my next app purchase. Now if only it were available for my fruit-based devices too. 😉

Having used the app for few months I found one biggest issue is that it does NOT display all the photos from the folder but constantly displays a handful of selection on randomly. And the high price tag of 20 pounds for an app is too much considering the fact that Sony digital photo frame is on sale in shops for 39 pounds including a tablet on of 7.5 inch and 49 pounds for 10 inch. I think once bugs fixed and a reasonable price of 5 pounds will be more adaptable.

The app is nice, but syncing just doesn't seem very reliable. I've set it up to pull from Google Photos, and set the sync time to 5 minutes, but it just doesn't seem to want to update. I feel like I must be missing something. I'm going to give it a longer test and seem if it's just quite slow to update. I want to use it for a digital photo-frame for my mum who is in a home, so we can all send her photos, but if it doesn't update in a reasonable time it won't be much use. A small feature request: Add the option to show the Google Photos caption for a photo instead of its filename. The filename is generally pretty meaningless, just whatever the camera came up with.
