Very pleased to have found Brit stops. My first night away was in Louth. Fantastic area. They do need to pay attention to their database because I see some places are closed or are no longer recognised Britstops sites. Maybe they need to contact these places because some will have been taken over, closed or no longer offer the service. The stop that I am on is available without Brit stops but I would not have found it without them. Overall, I'm pleased with the app and the company behind it.

Be very careful at the consequences of downloading this app! I downloaded Britstop app but decided not to renew membership at £44. There are better alternatives. But their website and app are designed to auto renew your subscription money direct from, in my case, PayPal. And I couldn't sign in to cancel subscription, and, (of course) there is no provision to talk to an actual person! So it is designed by the hosts, Harvest Hosts to basically take your money in perpetuity. Best avoided...

The search option is very basic and you can only see what the site offers upon reading the details. It does offer a rudimentary travel planner, although no way to search for site facilities, such as Food Available, Pets Welcomed, Water Tap, Electric Hookup, etc. This would bring this App more in line with other Stopover Apps search capabilities. Since upon rejoining the scheme, I hadn't realised that the book has stopped, which at least gave an easy way to see what facilities sites offered.
