Not reviewing the app, rather the service. Careem are COMPLETELY UNCONTACTABLE more than about 5 minutes after your ride. They are not interested in resolving any issues. In the UAE, drivers are terrible. They usually start the meter before picking you up, so ALWAYS make sure you see them start the meter or get out. Also, most of them struggle to find places even though they've been given an exact location. 8 or 9 out of 10 are incompetent!! Uber may cost more, but you won't get ripped off

Shocking service. Drivers accept rides, then don't show and then wait for you to cancel so they earn money. They don't use pin point accurate GPS locations for pick up, but rather the drivers go to a pick up point, one you don't know of, and certainly didn't ask them to go to, and then ask where you are!? You can track the cars with GPS, you know clients requested pick up locations - it is not rocket science. an absolute failure, this has happened multiple times. Shockingly bad. I'd rather walk

We have had nothing but problems with this app travelling in Egypt. It won't let us see our upcoming trip or access the chat with the driver, it won't let us cancel either when we are unable to contact the driver, we thought maybe he had cancelled as we couldn't see the active trip but then he asks where we are. Other times the drivers have asked over the chat for much more (3-5x) than the agreed Careem fare. Very poor app and will not be recommending it to anybody (quite the opposite).
