How to play the backgammon game

- Classic backgammon is a logic puzzle for two, played on a board of 24 triangles. These triangles are called points.
- Each player sits on the opposite sides of the board with 15 checkers, black or white.
- To start the game, players take turns and roll the dice. That’s why free backgammon is often called a dice game.
- Players move pieces based on the numbers rolled. For example, if you roll 2 and 5, you can move one piece 2 points and another one 5 points. Alternatively, you can move one piece 7 points.
- Once all of a player’s pieces are in his or her “home”, that player may begin removing pieces off of the backgammon board.
- A player wins once all of their pieces are removed from the board

A few more things to know about this free Backgammon game

- Rolling two of the same number allows you to move 4 times. For example, for a roll of 4 and 4, you can move a total of 16 points, although each piece must move 4 points at a time.
- You cannot move a piece to a point that is occupied by 2 or more of your opponent’s pieces while playing a backgammon game.
- If you move a piece to a point with only 1 of your opponent’s pieces on it, the rival’s piece is removed from the board and placed on the middle partition.

It's OK but some of the streaks of lucky rolls are certainly not random. The points are all the same colour which doesn't give a realistic experience. I just play the daily challenge now. Despite claims to the contrary, not only does it get good throws but frequently perfect throws. Even so, it's game play on the daily challenge isn't great. You have to make a real effort to loose.

Hello Malc, thank you for sharing your concerns! We understand your frustration. However, our game uses a fair and random dice-rolling system. While it may sometimes seem that an opponent gets more favorable results, randomness can produce uneven-looking outcomes that are normal within probability.

Lately the scam ads have become more intrusive, frequent, and long. They are fake clickbait ads, for example purporting to be from Boots the Chemist while clearly for fake products. The gameplay is good and the game aesthetics are fine, although it's random number generator is a little off. I've played this app for a long time and was glad of the experience. I'm uninstalling it now though due to the fake ads.

Like others have said, the game is clearly weighted to the bot, to such an extent you can confidently predict dice numbers and what will happen next in the game. It isn't merely coincidence as the creator likes to pretend. We all know it. As it is clearly weighted and as Backgammon is meant to be a game of luck, with some skill, it's very hard to counter this. The ads are egregious, so play it on airplane mode. Don't give any ad revenue to someone who would create such a game and lie.

Hi, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We understand your concerns. While it's natural to notice certain patterns during gameplay, it's important to keep in mind that these observations may not necessarily indicate unfairness. Randomness can occasionally produce sequences that may seem unusual or non-random.
