About this app

What is Find My Bluetooth Device?

An Android Bluetooth device finder that helps you search for misplaced wireless accessories. Scan for devices, choose the item you recognize, and use a signal strength indicator to narrow your search as you move.

Who is Find My Bluetooth Device for?

For people who have misplaced earbuds or headphones and want guidance while looking for them. A search can be useful when an accessory may be tucked into a bag or drawer, or when you cannot remember where you set it down.

The app also supports searches for compatible Bluetooth wearables, including fitness trackers and smartwatches. The aim is to help you focus your physical search on an item the scanner detects.

What does Find My Bluetooth Device do?

• Bluetooth scanner: discover devices and view the results in a list;
• Device selection: choose your accessory from the results to focus on that item;
• Signal strength guide: follow changes in the indicator as you move around;
• Hot zone indication: use the visual proximity cue to help narrow down where to look.

Use the Bluetooth device finder to support your search for a misplaced accessory. The indicator provides a cue while you look through the surrounding space; you still need to locate and retrieve the item yourself.

How does Find My Bluetooth Device work?

Open the app and tap Search Devices. Look through Found Devices, then select the accessory you want to locate. The search flow includes a video step before you continue toward your device.

Follow the proximity indicator while moving through the area you are searching. Use changes in the guide to decide where to look next. When the hot zone appears, inspect the surrounding space for your accessory.

Limitations

• Devices need sufficient battery power and a detectable Bluetooth signal.
• Searches work only within Bluetooth range, which varies by device and surroundings.
• Distance and proximity readings are estimates, not exact measurements or locations.
• Earbuds in closed charging cases may be undetectable, and cases need their own supported Bluetooth signal.
• Compatibility varies by device model, Bluetooth type, and operating state.
• Bluetooth must be enabled, and the required scanning permissions must be granted.

Privacy

The app may collect location, app information and performance data, and device or other identifiers. App information and performance data, and device or other identifiers, may be shared with third parties. The app contains ads and offers in-app purchases.

It was helpful at first, but eventually became less and less helpful, I've been searching for roughly 20 minutes at this point and I don't think an app has made me more annoyed. I appreciate the [Cool-Mild-Hot] detector thing, but it doesn't help when I've been getting Hot ~2 metres for over four minutes and it doesn't even help. At first, I thought it was because there was only natural light in my room, so I turned my big light on and it was the same result regardless. irritating

Found my FitBit, thought I'd lost it and was about to give up searching when I thought I'd see if there was an app that could help. Using this app does take patience. Give it at least a few seconds after each movement for it to catch up with you. Might be a bit of trial and error if your device name isn't showing up (mine eventually did after a good 20 minutes of trying the unknown devices that were coming into range). Found it in the bottom on a bag it must have fallen into by mistake. Thanks!!

Lost one of my earbuds. It comes up with random device names I have never heard of, but anyways I clicked on the one that was showing, hoping it was my earbud. I tried the hot and cold meter but no matter where I went it was stuck on 3m or no connection, even if I stayed in a spot for 20 seconds or more. I'm so confused. I'm left frustrated as I can't find my earbuds, but even more angry as this app has given me false hope.
