08 Sept 26 - editing review and dropping to 1 star, not that it deserves that! utterly useless app, can't link Netflix, can't setup devices, constant errors, AI is terrible, subscription price for having a doorbell is a rip off. Time to give Alexa a go. Constantly having to relink devices. Latest drop nest doorbell no longer appears in cameras, despite being accessable in room, a small thing bit prefer seeing all cameras on same screen. Appreciate the feed, but it has made no difference.

Taken over from Nest, lost good features, which was why i purchased the nest cameras that I've had for a number of years. it had full 24hr access. Now I only have events that all look the same from thumbnail images. this makes it harder to find what I want to look for. Will be cancelling my subscription.

Hi, Anthony. We’re sorry to hear that the transition from the Nest to Google Home has impacted your access to 24/7 video history and made browsing events harder. To learn more about 24/7 video history, see: https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/9681538

Works for turning linked devices on/off. Well, sometimes. I just use the apps for the devices, they work. As the new home for "routines" - now "automations" - it's awful, because it can only control devices linked to the Home app and it can only turn them on/off. Sometimes. My routines used to control settings and apps on my phone, play media, give me travel and weather updates - all useless now they live in Home which evidently can't do any of that. The march of AI ensh*tification continues.
