The app (whether running on my phone or tablet) takes forever to find the Arcam CDS50 so that I can stream (if it ever does find it, some days it simply won't). Sometimes streaming stops after a while, even when I have prevented the phone/tablet from putting the app to sleep in the battery settings. The January update didn't fix either of these problems. I hope they are fixed because the Arcam sounds much better than the Chromecast Audio when streaming.

Well I can connect to my Arcam ST60. That's the only reason I give it two stars. You may be able to control the ST60 using Apple but not even the option to with Android. I'm afraid I don't use it. I can stream directly from Tidal as I can my Internet radio stations. If all else fails I use Chromecast. Absolutely terrible app but at least you can use the streamer without it. Just as well as the ST60 is a great streamer for the money.

Joyless experience with this app, especially current update (Nov 2020). Not compatible with Spotify, so I changed platforms (to Deezer) just so the purchase of an Arcam streamer wasn't complete waste. While streaming (from Deezer at least) the app offers fairly poor navigation capability, but more importantly it crashes extremely often, skips songs wrongly flagging them as unsupported files, and can struggle to locate the hardware. I am desperate for Arcam and partners to fix these issues.
