If you have a Sofar Inverter there is little choice but to use this app, the successor to the older SOLARMAN app (btw, adding SMART to the title does not always mean better!). As several reviewers have pointed out, the information only updates every few minutes. Personally I don't mind as interested in the daily, weekly totals etc. Would like to see Parameter Selection option for all the bar charts improved to retain the user's choices, not keep reverting to the default Prodn & Consumption data.

It is really useful for helping you work out how much electricity you are generating and using. It can not, of course, tell you that a spike is the kettle or the dishwasher, but eventually, you can work them all out. Good detail on the graphs. Doesn't auto update - you have to go back to the first screen and tap in again. Nice summary stats. More resonsive after the update.

Frustrating, is it defective ? No blue tooth connection even when next to stick, when trying to connect via WiFi, is it connected or not, believe it might be as logger is added with batteries but no indication it's actually working. no data being transferred to app. will contact supplier as at this time not fit for purpose and I can't recommend. Also can not close the door of the unit/cabinet as the stick is protruding 4 inches !

Hi! Thank you for the details. We’re checking the Bluetooth pairing, WiFi status, and why no data appears. Please contact customerservice@solarmanpv.com with your phone model/OS, app version, Bluetooth pairing behavior/error, unit indicators, and exact WiFi steps (and whether the app ever shows connected).
