Canasta

I have been playing this game for years. However. Now the opponents get 4 red cards on a regular basis yet my partner and I very rarely get them all. Also, the opponents always seem to get the cards they want and are able to take the pack too often. Today on 3 occasions the opponents wanted 120 yet managed to get it after only our 3rd lay whilst my partner and I only wanted 50 but could not get the cards. I am a seasoned player but find I am only winning about 1 game in10. Unfair odds.

Nice simple app for playing the game with a range of play and display settings. Only small gripes are that your computer 'partner' will never freeze the pack (ie by discarding a wild card) even when it is the best option, and they will sometimes go down out of their hand (i.e. without winning the discard pile) even when the pack is frozen. Other than that, game play is really good.

I love playing the game and the online version allows to play with others. My only real gripe, is that the dealer algorithm can be frustratingly unfair at times with the cards you get dealt. It seems to go in cycles where you have cards which make it impossible to win, to cards that are simply amazing. Maybe that is just canasta, but it can be quite disappointing when it happens many times in a row
