This has been brilliant and enabled me to converse with my Ukrainian neighbours here in the UK. But yesterday there was some sort of update. It all looks different. Instant Voice playback of the translation has gone. Don't seem to be able to make it happen automatically. No option to change the speed of voice playback. Option to download off line language packs vanished. The "Help" available via Microsoft is all for the previous version. Notice that there are no responses to these Reviews.

In 2019 I wrote this (and gave the App 4 stars) "Very good, just a bit temperamental when not using strict foriegn characters". Unfortunately after 6 years of constant, problem free, simple operation, some bright spark at Microsoft has decided to ruin it! Have they ever heard the phrase "..if it ain't broke...don't fix it!" ?? Really need to give no stars, but not an option. App now keeps crashing, despite uninstall ingredients and reinstalling 3 times now. might just use something else. shame.

It works, have been told some translation is not fully correct. I have gone to Google translator app. the main reason when taking a photo to translate a document the sound is so loud I'm surprised it didn't break the phone speaker. I use this feature alot for work so going to use a different app. also I find it frustrating you take a photo of a full page on A4 and the bottom part never gets translated. so have to take 2 photos for an A4 page.
