I love RDR and this is a great port that's faithful to the original. From a technical point of view it's great, and the touchscreen controls are well designed. Unfortunately, that fidelity is also it's main problem. It's not a game that's designed as a short session, pick up and play kind of game. There's no quick save, and missions can be quite long. Minimising the game can sometimes make it restart when you reopen it. They've been a little too faithful, and should have added a quick save.

I don't need to tell you what this is or how incredible of an experience it is. We all already know. Unfortunately, this version is hard capped at 30fps, no matter your hardware, regardless of which settings you change. Fix this and it's an instant 5 stars. If I wasn't a Netflix subscriber and had just paid £40 for this, I'd be refunding it in a heartbeat. Instead, I'm going to try and tweak some files.

Plays beautifully on my Honor Magic V3 foldable phone (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3) Also, using a Gamesir X2 Bluetooth Controller which works well. The graphics are decent, albeit the colours in the landscape seem a little washed out...although I imagine that this was how the game was originally. But we're talking about a full fat gaming experience here, on a mobile phone. It's an impressive feat. Netflix sub is required to play, but this represents excellent value if you already have one.
