Two thousand years of European Christian art, made for the wrist.
Sacred Europe is a collection of six watch faces for Wear OS, each drawn from a different tradition: Gothic stained glass, illuminated manuscripts, the medieval liturgy of the hours and the iconography of the Star of the Sea. Every face tells real time with a sweeping seconds hand and shows the date.
THE SIX FACES
• Rosa — a Gothic rose window in sapphire, ruby, emerald and amber glass, with gold tracery and a ruby seconds hand.
• Alpha Omega — pure digital. Matte black, a large thin-weight time, Α above and Ω below, and a gold seconds ring that fills around the rim. With the verse Lux in tenebris lucet (John 1:5).
• Horæ — a 24-hour dial on parchment, day above and night below, with the canonical hours (Matins, Lauds, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers, Compline) at their real times in blackletter. One red hand sweeps once a day.
• Kells — twelve gold rings woven over and under each other like Insular knotwork, on deep emerald, with a Celtic cross at the centre.
• Lumen — hands made of light over a midnight sky, with the words Fiat Lux.
• Stella Maris — twelve gold stars on deep azure, a guilloché sun-ray dial, Breguet hands and a date aperture.
