You’d think with 1M+ downloads and £‘000 from the UK NHS they might produce something better than this. So many things wrong eg.: Can take forever to pair (if at all) where other devices take seconds. Phone calls and all audio routed to hearing aids by default and this cannot be disabled. Only frequencies amplified by aids are transmitted resulting in a faint and “tinny” sound and often only to one ear. Completely messes up other apps eg Android Auto. … etc, etc.

The hearing aids, app settings are quite good, but as allways there's no control for the volume ballance. the ballance control is a tone control, not a ballance control. This app does have the ability to adjust left/right volumes independently but the user can't set it as default, and subsequent volume changes using the aids physical volume buttons cancels the app volume ballance user choice back to the aids preset left/right settings. every listening device I've ever owned has a balance knob.

App is slow to respond, doesn't always load everything up, the individual volume and mask mode. Very difficult to get a clear voice. Loses connection but still shows the settings, which makes you think it is still working. Have to disconnect, bluetooth and reconnect, and start again. Phone has latest update, other apps work properly.

Hi Colin, Thankyou for reviewing our app, & getting in touch. Whilst your phone is running Android 10, it is six years old and may struggle with the app a little regarding speed of loading, but should still work well. If speech is unclear you need to ask your audiologist to fine tune your aids, which will help significantly. Signia UK Tech Team
