Actual lessons that teach you and give you opportunity to practise in real time - much more than just an audio phrasebook with flashcards like other apps. This is the only language app I've tried that I feel is worth paying for. The language I'm learning doesn't have the AI voice recognition unfortunately and there doesn't seem to be a discount in recognition of that, which would be nice. But I'm still giving 5 stars because I really feel like I'm learning to converse, not just repeat phrases.

overall it's a great app and there are a couple of areas that could be improved. 1) while walking along with my phone in my hand there's this constant pop-up that asks me if there's a problem and to report an error and it prevents me from pushing pause or anything like that. 2) I often download the lessons so that I can go offline taking this app for a hike and finding where it has the Old lessons stored is really difficult. 3) the app uses a surprising amount of bandwidth I was surprised.

It's a very good app for learning Korean. The use of genders and having a distinctly American voice for prompts and narration works very well up until lesson 28 of level 1. There's a point when the American keeps saying, "Time" in conjunction with the Korean speaker, but it's not clear why he's saying it. My guess is that his part is supposed to be part of her explanation, but if that's so, then they should have had the Korean saying, "Time" instead. Other than that, so far so good.
