About this game

ENYO is a tactical roguelike about hook & shield combat.

Grab your hook & shield and descend as Enyo, the Greek goddess of war, into an ever-changing labyrinth to recover 3 legendary artifacts.

ENYO's gameplay is based on indirect combat. Enemies can only be defeated by pushing or pulling them into burning lava pits or onto deadly spiked walls.
A limited set of actions per turn keeps ENYO accessible, while its core is highly tactical turn-based battles.
Master your weapons and chain powerful combos through clever maneuvers to climb the highscore leaderboards across all 3 game modes.

Easy to spend a lot of time on this game, an incredibly solid concept. The only factor holding it back from a 5-star is a few unfortunate designs that make it harder to play. These include the moving tiles being hidden by obstacles or enemies, enemies sometimes taking double turns (may be intentional, but left completely unexplained) and confusing turn orders of enemies. Overall, still worth playing, but would be even better if these were explained more clearly or fixed :)

It's a good game, hard to master but hard to put down as well. One small problem I've found and there might be a way that I haven't found yet but if you lose your shield and you still have a hoop turtle on the map you'll have no way to kill it?!? Other than that this does what it says on the tin. I haven't progressed far so don't know how many free levels there are yet but it seems there's another 3 options of gameplay if you purchase the game. Learning curve is steeeeeeeeeeep but fun...👍😁

Excellent. Weirdly makes me think of games in the 8-bit days, Berzerk on steroids and turn based springs to mind but this is way beyond that. There's a feel to it I really enjoy. It's a bit like a very good old turn based rpg but combat only but with clever weapons and interesting foes. Love the stylised graphics and music and the sense of urgency you feel when you play...which is why you might get dumped in lava, shot, impaled etc....
