Upgraded to yearly sub, but not great so far. I'm in the UK and set to UK. A number of sites simply refuse to connect at random and will not load until vpn turned off. Updates lose all my split Bear settings, and now keeps disconnecting (without warning), logging me out and then I have to log in again. Paid £36 for the year, so no big loss, but will not be renewing and going elsewhere if this nonsense keeps repeating.

Rawr! 🐻🐾 We’re really sorry to hear about your experience after upgrading. We understand how frustrating it is when sites won’t load, settings reset, and the app disconnects or logs you out. That’s not expected. We’d like to help fix this—please reach out: https://www.tunnelbear.com/support

Been running this on android for about 10 years as a subscriber. Seems to work well on a PC, but android version is the flakiest app that I have. the latest version requires a full reinstall every single time you want to connect. Currently not fit for purpose. expect to see one of the following messages very regularly.: "we can't currently find that's email and password combination". "no Internet". "try again later".

Rawr! 🐻🐾 Thanks for sticking with us for so long—we’re really sorry to hear the Android app’s been so unreliable, especially with repeated reinstalls and login errors. That’s definitely not expected. We’d love to investigate and fix this. Please contact us via tunnelbear.com/support so we can help 🐾

This app used to work well, these days I end up wanting to punch my phone every time I try to use it. It's BROKEN and has been for over a year. The connection is glitchy, nothing happens. You have to tap and figure out ways around it. Then you are frequently and randomly logged out. Having to repeatedly log in to your account (over 20 times). The data limit for FREE accounts is seriously low for 2024. I ended up paying for an alternative service for quite some time.
