Megastructure is an animated cyberpunk watch face for Wear OS. Explore monumental towers, suspended bridges and a distant vertical city, with digital time and everyday information integrated into the architecture.

Weather becomes the landscape

This weather watch face brings 15 weather conditions into the scene itself. Skies, clouds and atmospheric effects change the mood and depth of the city throughout your day.

Rain falls in front of the buildings. Snow drifts between the towers. Fog and mist soften the distant skyline, while lightning flashes behind the megastructures. From clear skies and passing clouds to heavy rain, snow and thunderstorms, the landscape expresses the weather through its own visual language.

The 15 states cover clear, sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy and windy weather; fog and mist; light, regular and heavy rain; light, regular and heavy snow; mixed rain and snow; and thunderstorms.

From dawn to night

The sky gradually moves through dawn, daylight, sunset and night. The sun and moon travel behind the architecture, appearing and disappearing with soft transitions. Eight moon phase graphics add a changing detail to the night sky.

Look closer at the city

A small industrial aircraft crosses the daytime sky and disappears behind the towers. At night, stars gently vary in brightness and an occasional shooting star passes through the darkness. These details appear according to the time and supported weather conditions.

A lone figure on the bridge gives the monumental structures their sense of scale. Slowly varying architectural lights bring another subtle movement to the scene.

Four lighting moods

Choose warm ivory, ember coral, ice white or steel blue lights to give the city a different atmosphere. Keep the same architecture and change its color character through the watch face customization options.

Your information, built into the world

Read the digital time and date on an industrial terminal. Dedicated panels show steps, heart rate, battery level and unread notification count, while the weather temperature uses Celsius or Fahrenheit according to your selected unit.

Original science fiction art

Created for fans of cyberpunk, dystopian science fiction and atmospheric anime art, Megastructure explores the scale and solitude of immense industrial spaces. Its conceptual influences include the monumental architectural atmosphere of BLAME! by Tsutomu Nihei. The artwork is original; this watch face is not affiliated with or endorsed by the author, publishers or rights holders.

Compatibility and data

Requires a compatible Wear OS smartwatch. Weather, temperature and heart rate depend on the data available to the watch and the relevant updates or measurements. The day and night cycle and celestial paths are artistic, rather than a simulation of local sunrise, sunset or astronomical positions.
