About this game

Magic War Legends is a turn-based strategy RPG where heroes lead armies, grow their might and cast magic. Guide your heroes across 47 hand-crafted campaign maps, collect treasure and command units in tactical turn-based battles. Combine magic and heroes with tactics and strategy to overcome enemy armies.
In this magic and heroes RPG game, every journey connects exploration with progression. Choose a route, win battles and spend your rewards on heroes, units and magic. Your army's might grows as you prepare your strategy for the next challenge.

🗺️Turn-based Strategy Adventures

Explore castles and kingdoms hidden by fog of war. In Magic War Legends, your heroes open chests, visit buildings and choose between direct routes and side paths with extra resources. Conquer fortresses and defeat enemy armies. Your strategy decides where to go; your tactics and magic help you clear the way.

✨ Heroes Collection and Magic Mastery

Collect legendary heroes with different abilities and magic spells. Upgrade your heroes to increase their might, then match their magic to your army's needs. Use attack magic to damage enemies, defensive magic to protect troops, and magic that strengthens allies or weakens foes. Spell timing adds tactics to your strategy.

⚔️ Army Building & RPG Progression

Build mighty armies in this fantasy war game. Choose factions such as Stronghold, Rampart and Necropolis, with distinct units and heroes. Face dragons, minotaurs and undead hordes. Earn gold, unit fragments and artifacts to upgrade your forces. RPG progression increases your might, while grand strategy guides which heroes, units and magic you improve first.

♟️ Turn-based Tactics Battles

In campaign battles, move units across a hex grid, choose targets and cast magic with your heroes. Protect ranged attackers with melee troops and use flying units to reach vulnerable enemies. Turn order and retaliation shape your tactics. Combine your army's might with strategy and magic in turn-based battles where each move changes your options.

🏆 PVP & Skill-based Strategy

Prepare your heroes and formation for asynchronous PVP arena battles. Combat is resolved automatically by AI using saved formations, so strategy focuses on army building, upgrades and unit combinations. Test your tactics against other players' armies in turn-based encounters, climb global leaderboards and develop your turn-based strategy as your collection grows.

🔥 Unleash Magic and Heroes Power

Build your strategy around the magic your heroes can use. Slow a dangerous enemy before it reaches your ranged troops, strengthen an attacker or protect your front line. These tactics turn magic into practical choices on the battlefield. Your heroes gain might through upgrades, while your strategy guides which spells to improve. Adapt your tactics to enemy units and use magic to support your army's strategy.

💎 Dungeon Exploration & Discoveries

Take your heroes into dungeons and events. Climb the Magic Tower, explore the Underworld and tackle Adventures with different maps and rules. Earn artifacts and resources that strengthen your magic and might. These challenges reward planning: adapt your tactics and strategy, then bring your upgrades back to the campaign.
Magic War Legends combines exploration, RPG progression and strategic warfare for fans of traditional heroes games and classic turn-based strategy games. Explore magical worlds, build your collection and develop the tactics behind your army's might. Discover how magic and might work together in Magic War Legends, a turn-based strategy RPG where your strategy shapes every journey.

People are saying it ends up being pay to play - this is a huge mistake. I bought some specific units, as soon as you do, the difficulty on Adventures and other non campaign modes skyrockets as I think it is based on your overall strength. Also the RNG on things like Morale is massively biased towards the AI (I've counted it over a week of heavy gameplay - it's not a bias I have). The difficulty scales unfairly and it becomes exceptionally unbalanced. Aside from all that its a good game.

Interesting game, gets pretty close to the whole Heroes vibe. But don't expect it to get far in this game if you don't want to start paying. Also, when viewing ads in the game, I find myself watching them 2-3 times instead of once. Also, if you want to double rewards when the initial reward is actually a BIG one, of course the game won't let you...

I started playing in January 2024, for 3 months was great, I made even small purchases. But my great army and a hero got it from playing game often and watching ads. Sadly after the update my army and hero become rubbish. No option to log in/ save account apart from facebook page, very poor. Often glitches, once I lost premium chest because of that. That's sad, because the game itself is very good. You lost a player.
