About this app

Appkin turns a JSON file into ready screens on your phone: a reading list, a recipe collection, a sign-up form for your club, a gallery of your favourite paintings. Ask the AI app you already use to write the file, and Appkin shows it with its own built-in screens. No coding, no account, nothing to install.

HOW IT WORKS
A JSON file is plain text that describes screens: their text, pictures, lists, forms and buttons, and what a tap does. Appkin reads it and draws it with its own components. Nothing in the file runs as code: it can only use the screens and actions built into Appkin.

MAKE IT WITH YOUR AI APP
Describe the app you want. Appkin hands complete instructions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Claude or any AI app you use, so it knows exactly what to write. Bring the result back by opening the file it makes, sharing or pasting its answer, or sharing a link to the chat. Appkin checks it, pictures included, and shows it straight away. If something's wrong, such as an image that doesn't load, one tap sends the problems back to your AI app for a fix.

Appkin has no AI inside: your chats stay in the AI app you chose.

KEEP YOUR FILES CLOSE
Every file you open or make is kept under Your apps. Put any of them on your phone's home screen with its own icon, and tapping it opens that app directly.

WHAT A FILE CAN DESCRIBE
• Screens with text, buttons and pictures
• Lists, typed in or loaded from the web, with a page for each item
• Notes, checklists and collections saved on your phone, with photos, tags, sorting and swipe to tick off
• Forms with text, numbers, dates, choices, tags, photos from your gallery and attached files that open later
• Share what you saved as a PDF, or as Markdown with its photos and files in a zip for your notes app
• Moving between screens, alerts, maps, links, and adding events to your calendar

START FROM AN EXAMPLE
Three example files come with Appkin: Masterpieces, a gallery of famous public-domain paintings; App ideas, a notebook for your app ideas and bugs with photos, tags, files and a PDF; and Movies, a film catalogue. Open any of them in the editor to see its JSON and change it.

FOR THE CURIOUS
Every app is one plain JSON file you can read. A built-in editor shows it with colours, suggestions and a live check, and the format guide on GitHub explains every part.

PRIVATE AND OPEN SOURCE
No ads, no account, no data collected. If an app needs an API key, Appkin asks for it once and keeps it encrypted on your phone. Appkin is open source under the MIT licence: github.com/wakirox/JsonAppCreator-Android
