About this app

Warning: Nightly is an unstable testing and development platform. By default, Firefox Nightly automatically sends data to Mozilla — and sometimes our partners — to help us handle problems and try ideas. Learn what is shared: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/#pre-release

Firefox Nightly gets updated every day and is designed to showcase the more experimental builds of Firefox. The Nightly channel allows users to experience the newest Firefox innovations in an unstable environment and provide feedback on features and performance to help determine what makes the final release.

BILLIONAIRE FREE FOR 20+ YEARS
The Firefox browser was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private browser with more customizable features than web browsers like Internet Explorer. Today, we are still not-for-profit, still not owned by any billionaires and still working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better. I wish you would say what was included in each update. I'm not happy with some of the download apps they say are free to use, then limit the number of downloads. They are always putting up adverts to pay for unlimited downloads. Download helper years ago was free and there was no pressure to pay. I know work goes into it, but only allowing 2 downloads per day when it was 10 nearly 6 months ago . This wasn't put in the initial ad for the app.

I use Firefox Preview as my default browser for a few months now. The new tabs menu is such a mess though. It's way too easy to dismiss it when I scroll to the top of my tabs and it's really frustrating. Also while I think this new list is better than the old one in terms of being able to see more of my tabs (I usually have a lot open at one time) most of them just feature a whit rectangle on the left instead a thumbnail of the page. It looks very bad and not very useful either.

A couple of sticking points: After downloading a file over the browser, it won't let me swipe away the notification, as if it's some seriously important event. Come on... Also, too often the strict cookies thing causes an issue with Captcha and other logins. It's not clear how to circumnavigate this quickly and easily, so if I ever have issues with a website, I have to have Chrome to use as a backup option. I wish I could fully rely on Firefox. Saying that, keep up the good work!
