You only need to register to be able to buy tickets.

In the Cinemas NOS App:

- Get to know the full poster, the films on display and the upcoming premieres at NOS Cinemas
- Find out more about the films, see the trailers and see the available sessions
- Buy your tickets quickly and securely, with MBway, PayPal or credit card

Dreadful app. Unintuitive and incredibly glitchy 10 OTP codes, each one rejected, one after another. To change the date for a booking, you have to cancel the whole process, go back and select the movie again! You also can't simply select IMAX only. Then, to top it all, unbeknownst to me, my booking failed, and I now can't get tickets for that day. Absolutely sucks. Worst cinema app I've ever used.

Can't use my NOS card to get 2 tickets for the price of one, it just doesn't show up even though I have it associated to my account. Every "help" article returns an error processing request. Tried to buy through the website, but it also returns errors even trying to select the seats. Also they send you texts sometimes with promotional codes, you enter them on checkout and it says the code is invalid. 1 star is being too generous but unfortunately you can't rate them 0 stars.

Used to be 5* now it's useless. The same ticket (seat/time/date) here can be twice as expensive as buying it in the official Cinemas NOS website. Annoying issue: it should only "open supported links" from specific websites (their own), but it's suggested to EVERY website. In Android settings it can even be set as "default browser". Each app should just handle urls related to themselves. (imagine TikTok in a list of supported apps to open Instagram links)
