Terrarium: Garden Idle

Lovely little time waster. The drawings are aesthetically pleasing and they make me want to get some houseplants in real life. Would be nice to have some info on each plant (ie sunshine/watering needs). If you're impatient like me, change the date on your phone to tomorrow, feed your garden gnome, and repeat. I'm on level 1000 and I've collected all the plants but it can go on indefinitely. Lost a star because you're forced to watch an ad when you level up unless you're in airplane mode.

Honestly pretty disappointed with how incredibly frequent the ads are now, with an unskippable 30 second ad every time you level up, whether you pick to watch the ad for bonus money or not. Not sure why you'd even give two options if one is "watch ad for rewards" and the other is "watch ad for nothing". The method to remove them is also a monthly payment not a one-off, which, sorry, but I'm not setting up for a mobile game where I'll probably forget about it.

The game is poorly thought out. Player progression is limited by the floor restrictions. When you place a the second plant of the same species, the first one can't be upgraded or removed. The second on ecan be upgraded, but it's a waste of money, and it also can't be removed. This is an incremental idle game that doesn't have soft or hard resets or a leaderboard, which baffles me. There is no incentive to play this game.
