WHAT IS HEARING TRAINING?
Training targets our key hearing & cognitive skills to improve our ability to focus on the sounds we want to hear, helping with understanding speech in noisy environments.

HOW COULD HEARING TRAINING BENEFIT YOU?
There’s two parts to our hearing: how we take in sound through the ear & how we process it to get meaning. The second part happens in our brain & this is where training can really help.

Wear hearing aids? Use headphones regularly? There’s lots of assistive devices out there & hearing training can help you practise listening to get the most out of your tech’s features.

Struggling to hear in noisy places? Training can help to improve your ability to understand speech in noisy environments so you never miss out on the conversation.

Experimenting with assistive listening or hearing aids? Practise using your tech in challenging listening environments, all from the comfort of your own home, so you’ll be a pro when out & about.
Want to see what difference enhanced personalised listening, spatialised audio, & adaptive sound can make? Try them out with eargym.

HOW MUCH COULD YOU IMPROVE?
Most of us, with or without hearing loss, will struggle to hear in noisy environments. But this doesn’t have to be the case. Research shows hearing training could improve your understanding of speech in noise by up to 25%.

WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEARING?
Our hearing is an essential part of how we communicate & connect with others. With 1 in 2 young adults at risk of permanent hearing loss from unsafe listening it’s never been more important to look after our hearing.
Research suggests addressing hearing loss in mid-life is the biggest amenable risk factor for dementia, meaning something we can change to potentially reduce our risk. With simple step-by-step hearing care, eargym makes it easy to look after your hearing health throughout life.
