HOW DOES THE EHARMONY DATING APP WORK?
When it comes to dating, compatibility matters. That’s why we’ve created our unique Compatibility Matching System to ensure each of your Matches are based on qualities that are important to you. Compared to other dating apps, we make finding love simple. We’ll guide you through the process in easy steps:

STEP 1: TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
Your journey on our dating app starts with the Compatibility Quiz. Your answers help us understand exactly what you’re looking for and what matters most to you in a relationship.

STEP 2: FILL OUT YOUR PROFILE
The next step to finding love is setting up your profile. We provide thoughtful prompts that help you show what makes you, you. We make online dating as enjoyable as possible by having richly detailed profiles that are easy to digest. That’s why eharmony is the dating app with the highest-rated user profiles**.

STEP 3: EXPLORE SINGLES THAT MATCH YOUR PERSONALITY
Based on your answers to the Compatibility Quiz, eharmony’s matching algorithm determines which singles are the best fit for you. You can see how well you match based on your matching score. The higher the score, the greater the chance of falling in love.
STEP 4: START A CONVERSATION
It’s time to connect! Show your interest with a Like and send a first message. Once you get a Like in return, it’s a Match. With Premium memberships you can now swap messages and get to know each other better.

WHAT OUR DATING APP OFFERS TO YOU TO FIND A PARTNER
We focus on serious intentions: that’s why every profile must be at least 50% complete.
Our unique Compatibility Matching System helps you meet singles who are truly compatible with you: when it comes to love, we rely on our scientific matching system rather than pure chance.
We’re committed to providing a trusted space for online dating: with thoughtful safeguards, clear guidance, and a dedicated Trust and Safety team, you can connect with confidence.
