Retro Bowl

I am on my 27th season, and I still love playing it. I only have 2 problems. Problem 1, the running game is not great. I mean, you're telling me that my 4.5* running back can't get more than 3 yards on a play most of the time? It a bit silly. Problem 2, I just occasionally don't feel a massive connection or story with the team I'm coaching, so I get bored and move on from a team after 3 years with them. I do kinda get connected to some of the players, but not much more than that.

I never write a review for games I download but this game deserves one. I saw a review about how "speed is pointless" but this is wrong. If you invest in a fast player, they will outpace slower players - simple as. With that out the way, I love the progression in this game. Carrying your team across multiples seasons and building a name for yourself as a manager feels very rewarding. The game is well balanced between skillful plays and strategic decision-making. Definitely give this game a go!

Have the free version. Fantastic simple game. Addictive. For those asking for more control over the defence, I would look to add it in but only for the paid option. I would not add any more to the free version. I have looked at what the paid option adds to the game and it doesn't seem there is much to offer? Saying that, I have come here to buy the full game simply in support of the Developer. For the 1 star reviews complaining about the number of interceptions and dropped passes... play better.
