Sadly the app seems to be broken, it just does not play any audio and says an error has occurred, please check Internet connection (wifi is connected just fine). Update 03/09/26: support weren't able to help. They said I should get the paid version of the app and it should work (nice try!). PSA: the free version of this app does not work, so it's best avoided.

I enjoy this app a lot and it has only failed once during a particularly large epub file. I don't appreciate the latest update, hiding the 'content' menu from the main player page is inconvenient as it's something I interact with the most, as I regularly upload updated files and want to navigate to the most recent chapter. I don't change the voices or soundscapes mid-play, so having those two options on the player now which can accidentally activated, is just unnecessary and frustrating for me.

While ok, the voices bug out a lot, after trying the free trial suddenly 'usual activity detected, so free tier access has been disabled. please upgrade to a paid service to continue.' So not a free trial and not really a free tier. now i wouldn't mind as much if it was not so over priced, maybe if it was ¼ of the price it would be worth it. But honestly it feels like an 'earlier access' game on steam, like its half done, throw out there to get money and might get a fix if it's profitable to fix

- ElevenReader shows a toast when part of a read cannot be spoken and is replaced with silence.
Improved
- The Voices tab has a clear empty state when there is nothing to show.
- Bottom tabs and the read-aloud website list are easier to scan.
- When a report asks for a description, ElevenReader needs a short note (at least 10 characters) so the team can help.

- The voice pill no longer keeps looping after you open the voice picker.
