Not quite as perfect as 2 but not far off. Objectively its just as good if not better. The return to home function for examples is great. But personally I preffered the fantasy setting of 2. While I understand the urge the developers had to break free of that, it dissapointed me a little. Still, it's basically the second best RPG around. After 2. Just like an old gameboy game. Well done guys. I'll look forward to 4.

So, I do enjoy the game, and have been constantly playing during lockdown. However, after using the grappling hook the first time, I sent myself home (back to the original bed area) because it was night time. I've managed to craft some hooks for the grappling hook, but I cannot craft any to get any further. I've looked at the treasure maps given, cannot find the areas on this part of the map. I feel I cannot advance any more, and dont want to reset the entire game.

You will need to craft strong rope to craft grappling hook. You will need glue by growing wheat and spider web. The hooks do not disappear after they are placed, so you can still go back to the east area using the hook placed where the rocks appear.

Slow to start, but once it gets going it's an engrossing game. Discovering & gathering supplies can get a bit repetitive & the storyline is quite linear, but despite that it's entertaining & will have you eager to find what's next. My only quibble is that the interface is a bit picky about attacking/harvesting: your character has to face the right direction instead of automatically retaliating/picking. That said it's an impressive effort for a hobbyist solo developer.
