Just at the end of my first playthrough on medium difficulty on a large map. I love the size of the world and there are a pretty good variety of enemies and terrain types. You can even build a home Equipment is upgradeable including the backpack so as you play through, you get stronger and can explore further. It's a nice change from the original story driven concept but I look forward to future updates with increased world content as there are plenty of npc's but very little interaction so far.

I loved the first 3 rpg survival, and this starts with a great idea of open worlds. What spoils it is 2 things: having to select each time the proper equipment to collect pieces (the axe, then the shovel, then pickaxe...you need to change continuously every few steps!), and the limited space in the bag, which makes you find yourself all the time with the bag full and having to walk back to where you have a box to leave the items...sooo frustrating. I quitted at at about lv 15

After playing all 3 of the other games this 1 falls very short off from the highly enjoyable game of old . The time spent on gathering food will make most leave after a few days . The crafting is taking ages with multiple jobs needing to be done for simple objects . You can get attacked while using the fire that HAS to be made outside . Constantly needing to feed gets to be the main time consumption , leaving little time to gather the multitude of items needed . Hope it gets better further on
