Rise of Cultures is a lot more balanced than Forge of Empires and does not have player power creep. But that lack of power creep also makes it a lot harder to advance than FoE. There is a SUPER long recruitment time for units, so you need to wait 30-60 minutes between each battle. The wait between battles is most frustrating part. But the game can be played relaxingly with no time limit. Also, the game feels a bit too hard in 3rd-5th eras. Most of the event buildings are useless. No ads.

Very good game, been enjoying it for a couple of weeks now, no ads which always makes a game more enjoyable, just a couple of issues, when upgrading you seem to use more of your workers and you seem to get less in terms of ratio, especially with food, but my biggest issue it the lack of warriors, I could really do with double what I have now in terms of soldiers, archers and cavalry, they almost all die after every mission. This could be the reason I stop playing, otherwise great game.

Played these types of games for years. This is by far the most pleasant, easy to use and interesting one I've played. The graphics are great. Can't stop humming the soundtrack. This game would take over the play store if you could attack other bases and if the trade was tweaked a bit where you can use coins to buy other resources as I have about 33 million in the bank sitting there doing nothing ! Also in your alliance you should be able to do quests or joint attacks ! Great game though !!
