Sky Remote

The batteries went and I had no spares. I downloaded this app while waiting for them to arrive. it's brilliant! so simple to use! The lack of a volume button is why I only rated it 4 BUT you can use voice control for this " Hello Sky! Volume Up ( or down)'. You can also use voice control to search.

I'm redoing my review as the app has been updated and now we have volume controls, this is a superb addition to the app as I can now use it as an alternative if the physical remote is either broken or the batteries need replacing and I have no spares or if I just can't be arsed to get up and get it from wherever it might be lol

Now that a volume button has been added its definitely 5 stars. works perfectly. Well done. But its such a disgrace that Sky actually charge £30 for a new remote control & that people have to resort to using this app instead, and with my remote control breaking completely after only 12 months you seriously need to up your game on quality control. Don't be like Virgin !
